NATIONAL SATURDAY CLUB
QEST and National Saturday Club are delighted to be working in partnership to launch the Craft&Making Saturday Club for 13-16 year olds across the UK, with a particular focus on engaging young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and underrepresented communities.
The Craft&Making Club will provide transformational opportunities for young people to build their skills, develop confidence and discover clear pathways of progression into craft-based occupations, unlocking hidden talents and growing a new generation of professional craftspeople and makers.
The Prince's Foundation
The Prince’s Foundation and QEST collaborate on The Building Arts Programme, which centres around the idea that our built environment is a collaboration between a vast array of different discipline areas which are all fundamentally linked and interrelated.
The 9-month programme, based at Dumfries House, looks to provide a space for rediscovering shared learning and practice, enabling students to explore the multifaceted nature of the built environment and their role within it. It includes practical workshops, group discussion, collaborative projects and industry placements.
COCKPIT
Cockpit is London’s leading studios for contemporary crafts and the UK’s only business incubator for makers and designers. QEST and Cockpit collaborate to offer new QEST Scholars a place on the Cockpit Professional Development Programme, helping the makers build the core skills needed to develop a more sustainable practice.
The bespoke, practical and progressive programme of online workshops covers topics including: developing a strategic vision, planning the business and practice that you want, understanding how to target audience and market and effectively communicate to them, and much more.
