Adam Nash left the Army as a Major in 2004 and was able with the help of QEST to start a second career as a Thatcher. Having completed his training he then set up his business qualifying as a Master Thatcher and being accredited by the National Society of Master Thatchers. He now runs a small team of three, thatching in Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset!

Since receiving support from QEST he has been busy thatching in combed wheat, water reed and long straw. His next project is to thatch the Swan Public House in the village of Enford.
