Aidan is a designer maker of contemporary fine furniture working from a workshop and studio in Farnham, Surrey. A QEST Scholarship helped Aidan further his training by spending a year and a half at the Edward Barnsley Workshop in Hampshire.
Aidan was invited to design and and make a table as part of the renovation of the Buckingham Palace Summerhouse, undertaken for the Coronation Festival . He also appeared on Channel 4’s Monty Don’s Real Craft programme as a mentor to three cabinet makers. He creates bespoke furniture, teaches furniture making courses and is planning on opening a residential school in Ireland.
