Cameron gave up a career in advertising to move to Dorset and establish himself as a block-printer. Together with his wife Janet he set up Bonfield Block Printers and they produce block-printed furniture, artisan garments, hand-printed linens, cushions, lampshades & light shades, limited edition prints on paper and more. Each intricate pattern is hand-carved onto traditional wood-printing blocks and printed onto both paper and textiles.
A QEST Scholarship enabled Cameron to study with Marthe Armitage, allowing him to develop his style and hone his skills. His work is rooted in his love for the countryside and the sea, rural life – its rhythms and traditional skills – and the folklore of trees, plans and animals.
