“The QEST scholarship played a pivotal role in my development as an artist and block-printer. Not only did it afford me the time to develop my style and hone my skills, but it also enabled me to be mentored by the peerless block-printer, Marthe Armitage”.
Since his scholarship, Cameron has produced more work, much of which he has sold here and abroad. At present, he is restoring an old shop in the heart of his village. It will serve as a space to showcase and sell both his and his wife’s work. In addition, he intends it to become a place for others to come and learn the craft of block-printing.
