Cara Louise is an emerging designer maker from Glasgow with a Master of Fine Art in Glass, a BA Hons Degree in Three Dimensional Design and an HND in Jewellery Design.
Specialising in the production of cast glass and jewellery, Cara Louise provides a commission-based service alongside the production of artwork for galleries and exhibitions.
Cara Louise’s QEST Penhaligon’s Scholarship supported her during the final year of her Masters at Edinburgh College of Art, during which time she studied traditional methods and new technologies to investigate how glass behaves in combination with materials such as metal and stone, and further developed her skills in glass casting.
