2003 QEST Scholar - Polychromed Timber Conservation

Elizabeth is an independent conservator who specialises in painted and gilded wood. She used her QEST Scholarship to undertake voluntary work alongside a National Trust conservator, attend specialist courses in the UK and spend a week at the conservation department of the Stockholm Museum of Antiquities.

Elizabeth is an accredited member of ICON and continues to undertake a variety of projects, mostly in the West Country.  In 2013 – 2014 she completed the conservation of the reredos in St. Cadoc’s church LLancarfan, Glamorgan and the polychromed altar table in St. Saviour’s, Dartmouth.
