Fiona Rose is a children’s book illustrator based in Falmouth, Cornwall. Since graduating she has published two books, been awarded ‘Best in Show’ at D&AD New Blood and has worked with clients including Oxford University Press and Parragon Books.
A QEST Rumi Foundation scholarship enabled Fiona to return to Falmouth University to study an MA in Illustration: Authorial Practice. This highly regarded course enabled her to enrich the written aspect of her work and produce bibliotheraputic books for children which deal with difficult subjects such as social anxiety and disability.
She now works as a freelance illustrator in both the Editorial and Advertising sectors, and is a Year Leader on the BA Illustration course at Falmouth University.
