Jamie is a painter based in Wiltshire.  He trained in both Italy and the UK before receiving a QEST Scholarship to support him in his studies at the London Atelier of Representational Art, where he focused on drawing and painting in the sight-size tradition.

Since his scholarship Jamie has completed many portrait commissions including the Chaplain General Jonathan Woodhouse and the Emeritus Professor of Archaeology, David Lewis-Williams.

In June 2016 Jamie’s portrait ‘Dad Sculpting Me’ was awarded the Young Artist Award at the BP Portrait Awards, National Portrait Gallery, London. The painting depicts Jamie’s father, the sculptor Mark Coreth, sculpting his son.  His work was also selected for the BP Portrait Awards exhibition in 2018 and 2020.
