Sam is a London based artist specializing in the use of clay. A QEST Scholarship enabled him to undertake an MA in ceramics & glass at the Royal College of Art, which he completed in 2011. It afforded him the time to focus his conceptual practice, whilst continuing to expand his technical capabilities.
Sam has worked as a studio assistant to Edmund de Waal and in 2015 he won the British Ceramics Biennial AWARD. He was a Ceramics Resident at the V&A 2018-19.
