Sarah’s brand, Frances George, was borne of her passion for fine quality leather work and traditional craftsmanship. From her workshop in Somerset she designs and makes beautiful, luxurious, and unique leather goods that are made and stitched entirely by hand. The QEST scholarship has funded further training from master craftsmen so that Sarah now offers a larger variety of bespoke products to her clients; handbags, briefcases, wallets and folios to name a few. It has also allowed her to begin to build a collection that clients may order in the colour of their choice.
Since receiving the scholarship Sarah has exhibited her work at Highgrove’s exclusive Christmas shopping event at Clarence House and at the Royal Windsor Horse Show. Sarah’s Frances George collection will soon be available in a few select retailers in the UK and she will continue to create unique pieces for her bespoke clients.
