Will Davies works as a freelance stone carver and sculptor. His fourteen years of experience working stone has given him a broad knowledge of the industry, from dry stone walling, to fine figurative sculpture. Each end of the scale provides an equal enjoyment and fulfilment in the different problems they pose, and the satisfaction and permanence of the finished work.
Will worked and studied in London for fourteen years. He studied and taught at The City & Guilds of London Art School. The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust allowed Will to finish the Historical Stone Carving Diploma, where he learnt everything he needed, both practically and professionally, to create a successful business. The continuing support from QEST gave Will the opportunity to exhibit in the grounds of Buckingham Palace, to meet contacts for future work and professional advice, and provided exposure of his work through the QEST directory and publication.
