An architectural historian, broadcaster and author, Jonathan has written over a hundred ‘Artisans’ articles for the FT Weekend, on a huge variety of craftspeople and materials from around the world. He is a former curator at Hampton Court and former CEO of World Monuments Fund Britain.  He is passionate about craft and heritage and is currently writing his fifth monograph of an English cathedral.
