Katherine McDonald is Director of Craft NI, the development and promotions body for the craft sector in Northern Ireland. For 12 years, Katherine worked in PR and lobbying, and was a founder member of Northern Ireland’s first lobbying company, set up in 2000. She then spent six years in charity leadership roles, before her appointment at Craft NI in 2018. Katherine will always look for ways to profile the work of Northern Ireland’s many talented makers, but her Ambassador role also gives the opportunity to raise awareness and engagement in the work of QEST among the craft sector in Northern Ireland.
