Sustainability Policy
QEST believes we must all play a role in building a sustainable future for us and the planet. In 2024, for the ninth consecutive year, QEST achieved the Planet Mark certification for measuring and reducing our own carbon emissions. Click here to view.
As of January 2023, we ask applicants what steps they have taken, are taking, or intend to take to monitor, manage and reduce the impact of their craft practice/business on the environment.
We also encourage our alumni to think about sustainability, to self-identify sustainable changes which are appropriate for their own practice/business, and to monitor the impact of those changes. To support this, we signpost to appropriate resources, highlight case studies of good practice, and provide opportunities for knowledge-sharing.
