Jessica Poole

2009 QEST Scholar - Jewellery Making & Design

Jessica is a traditionally trained goldsmith, honing her craft in Ireland, London and Belgium with some of the most respected names in the trade. Best practice was at the heart of her training and she has taken these values with her into her own workshop where she creates bespoke pieces of fine jewellery for private clients, as well as ranges for a select number of galleries. The beginning of Jessica Poole Jewellery is owed in no small part to the scholarship awarded her from QEST in 2009 to train in the meticulous art of micro pave diamond setting under a master of the skill in Antwerp. There she was given one to one tuition in working with minute stones, as small as 0.5mm. Jessica now makes and sets her own pieces but also offers this skill to the trade, for which she has won 4 awards from the Goldsmiths Company

I am a craftsperson first and foremost. I care about best practice, precision, beauty and aim for perfection. After 15 years in the trade I love my profession and I hope to continue what I am doing, creating pieces for clients who will treasure their jewellery for decades to come.
