Meg is a Scottish-based printmaker and painter whose work explores representations of the natural world.
Since completing her post-graduate in Drawing at the Royal Drawing School in 2013, Meg has specialised in painting, drawing and printmaking. She has also taught in various art schools and universities including the RWA Drawing School and the University of West England.
Her work has been selected for the Ruth Borchard Self-Portrait Prize, and most recently for an exhibition at Christies celebrating the legacy of Picasso.
A QEST Scholarship will allow Meg to further develop her skills and career as a printmaker through one-on-one training with master printmaker Terry Millington and a one-year MA in Contemporary Art Practice at the Edinburgh College of Art (ECA). Â With Terry, Meg will develop the skills to make complex colour etchings and to use aquatint to achieve soft gradations in tone.
Throughout her course at the ECA, Meg hopes to build up an ambitious and experimental body of prints.
