Dr Amy Goodwin: Illumination

Amy Goodwin is a traditional signwriter and fairground artist based in Cornwall. All her work is undertaken using traditional methods – by hand, using no tape nor digital assistance.

As part of the Anatomy of Design Festival, hosted by Doorstep, join Amy in her beautiful studio, to gain insight into her work and discuss how she recovers lost narratives, and restores treasures from times gone by. There will also be a Q&A opportunity to ask Amy all of the things you are dying to know about signwriting, heritage crafts, research, academia, victorian freak shows and steam engines.
