Paper Fan Folding Workshop with Kate Colin

Join this workshops to learn how to make your own collection of 360 degree Cockade hand fans. Kate has combined her experience as a paper artist with recent training at The Fan Museum in Greenwich to create this brand new workshop which brings together traditional fan making skills and contemporary paper folding techniques.  You’ll leave with a collection of beautiful handmade fans as well as the skills and knowledge to continue making them at home.

The workshop will also include a short presentation about Fan Making which has been identified as a critically endangered craft in the UK by the Heritage Craft Association.

All paper, materials and tools will be provided.
