Plant Support Workshop with Annemarie O’Sullivan

Make a large or small willow plant support from locally grown, freshly harvested willow.

Using this beautiful native willow, you will learn one basic but very strong weave. You will create a spiralling weave. All the techniques used are helpful for other willow garden projects. These plant supports are great for supporting sweet peas and other climbing plants in your garden. This workshop will be quite a physical day and some of the work will be done kneeling, if you have trouble kneeling please let us know and we can cater for your needs. Time permitting; there will be the opportunity to make a second smaller structure.
