Recycle Your Jewellery with Megan Falconer

Learn how to recycle and remodel your old, unworn jewellery in this full day workshop. You can choose to bring your own silver or gold for us to melt down and transform into a new piece of jewellery or use Megan’s scrap silver. Please ensure the pieces you are bringing have a hallmark on them to show the metal quality, if in doubt just get in touch and we can advise.

Once you have melted down your old jewellery, you can choose to make a ring/stacking rings, a pair of earrings or a bangle depending on how much metal you have. See images for examples.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or those with some jewellery making experience. You will learn a range of jewellery making techniques from melting, soldering and sawing to forming and polishing in order to complete your remodel.

If there are gemstones you would be looking to add to your pieces, these can be added after the workshop at an additional fee.
