Spoon Carving Weekend with Steve Tomlin

This course is held over two days and is for those wanting more time to really learn the skills involved in greenwood spoon carving. You’ll have plenty of time to practise each of the techniques and gain a deeper understanding of working with the tools and timber. This will allow you to carve more easily and efficiently and give you the confidence to continue carving at home. You’ll take home a range of finished items from simple butter knives to more complicated spoons and have chance to cover extra topics such as spoon design, the best oils for wooden spoons and how to sharpen your tools.
