Textiles Happening is a new event brought to you by the RCA’s most recent Textiles graduating cohort. This event will present work which strives to re-define and re-examine textiles language and textile practice in 2021. It will showcase a wide range of thoughts, initiatives and making on a series of ‘stages’. These stages will display a rich mixture of ideas in the form of film, performance, workshops, debates, interviews and tactile invention – all focused on materiality as a vehicle for improving systems, industries, environments, and well being.
