Andrew Winch is recognised as one of the world’s leading superyacht designers.

He started his career as an apprentice designer at Jon Bannenberg Ltd where he worked on sailing yachts, honing his skills as both an exterior and interior yacht designer.

In 1986, Andrew founded his own company, Winch Design, with his wife Jane.

Winch Design has delivered some of the most iconic yachts at sea today, including M/Y Madame Gu, M/Y Ace and the ground-breaking M/Y Excellence.

Andrew is deeply passionate about craftsmanship and enabling opportunities for designers and makers of all kinds in the UK.
