Lala is leading on QEST’s National Lottery Heritage Fund programme, Tradition in Transition which aims to expand inclusive access to heritage craft skills, training, and career opportunities. She enjoys working and supporting artists and practitioners to showcase craft skills, champion excellence and strengthening the future of UK craft particularly developing opportunities and awareness for the next generation of designers and makers.
She has an extensive background in arts education and programming for teachers, schools, families and community groups with a wide range of galleries and arts organisations across London and the UK. Outside of work she is a Trustee for The Art Station, an arts organisation based in Saxmundham, Suffolk and enjoys seeing live music, art exhibitions and is a keen swimmer.
