Anna’s QEST Scholarship enabled her to attend the Postgraduate Diploma and MA in the Conservation and Restoration of Fine Metalwork at West Dean College. She then received a HLF funded internship at the Royal Museums Greenwich to work within the metals conservation department, where she later progressed to a permanent position. She worked with a huge array of different objects, from fine silver jewellery to ships engines.
Anna is now the Curator of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers’ Museum and Archive. She looks after a collection composed of over 1000 watches, as well as clocks, chronometers, and other horological ephemera, which is based in the Science Museum London. Anna has a Diploma in Repair, Restoration and Conservation of Watches through the British Horological Institute’s Distance Learning Course and is an active member of the Antiquarian Horological Society.
