Brian spent 22 years as a secondary school geography and geology teacher before deciding to pursue his passion for horology full time. He gained the St Loyes College Certificate in Horology, followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Conservation and Restoration of Antique Clocks at West Dean College, Sussex.
A QEST Scholarship enabled Brian to further his skills by undertaking the Professional Development Diploma – only two horologists a year are accepted on the course.
