Fiona studied Conservation and Restoration at Lincoln College of Art (De Montford University before working with leading conservation companies on restoration projects such as gilding at the National Trust’s Uppark House and plaster ornament in the Grand Reception Room at Windsor Castle following the fire. Her QEST Scholarship allowed her to complete a six-month William Morris Craft Fellowship with the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings.

In 2006, Fiona created the Royal Warrant Holders Association’s wedding gift to The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall—a decorative ceiling for a gazebo in the grounds of Birkhall, their home in Scotland.   She is now a self-employed plasterwork conservator and restorer based near Norwich in Norfolk.
