Ilaria is a conservator specialising in wall paintings and decorated architectural surfaces, with a strong emphasis on applied heritage science and the development of integrated conservation strategies. Her experience spans projects across Europe and beyond, dealing with a wide range of materials, historic contexts, and deterioration challenges.
With support from QEST, Ilaria completed an MA in Wall Painting Conservation at The Courtauld Institute of Art in 2025. Now working professionally in the field, she aims to continue developing her practice through collaborative projects, international research, and educational outreach.
