In 2005 Jason launched Mobile Welding Services providing a nationwide mobile classic car restoration service. He would work on client’s cars in their own garage and stay on site in his custom built motorhome/mobile workshop for the duration of the week. In 2009 QEST provided funding for 3 courses of specialised training in panel beating and traditional coach building techniques which enabled Jason to tackle more complicated and sophisticated restorations.
In 2015 Jason came off the road, set up a fully equipped modern vehicle restoration workshop and started taking on staff in order to pass on the knowledge he gained thanks to QEST. In 2019 he moved to a 7,000 sq ft workshop with 8 staff and in 2020 will launch a second company specialising in the restoration of aluminium bodied vintage and classic cars, as well as building new body shells for hill climb racing.
