Joe is currently on the Advanced Stonemasonry Apprenticeship at Exeter Cathedral having won stone carving competitions and a draughtsmanship prize at Exmouth College.
Joe has learnt to work multiple, complex stones and produce accurate drawings, moulds and intricate carvings, most recently a grotesque beast for one of the Cathedral turrets. He is about to embark on the Professional Development Diploma in Historic Building Conservation and Repair at West Dean College under the tutelage of leading practitioners.
