Lida Marinkova

Lida’s sculptural work is very much based on transcending materials and playing with the perception of their everyday notions.  Heavily inspired by natural forms and processes and the idea of transformation, she aims to create unusual structures and organic shapes.  A QEST Garfield Weston Foundation Scholarship enabled Lida to complete her postgraduate degree in textiles and mixed media at the Royal College of Art.  She graduated with distinction in 2014.
