Polly Bell

2010 QEST Scholar - Textiles
Somerset

Award winning textile designer Polly creates fabrics that bring together detailed illustration, contemporary pattern and sophisticated colour palettes.  Living in Somerset, much of Polly’s inspiration comes from the countryside and wildlife as well as her extensive travel experiences.

In 2010 Polly received a QEST Scholarship to study traditional and modern upholstery in London. With a background in both fashion and interior textiles and a rich and varied skill set, Polly is available for commission work as well as offering a range of cushions, lampshades and fabrics printed and made in England.

Last year she launched Kobi & Teal, a new design shop, gallery and studio in her hometown of Frome. Kobi & Teal offers a considered collection of artwork and objects. With a mission to bring together a diverse group of small design brands, individual makers, and contemporary artists, they focus on self-production.
