Sam joined the Goldsmith’s Centre Foundation programme when he left school, and he graduated from the course with distinction, also receiving the Outstanding Achievement Award. QEST Hedley Foundation funding is supporting Sam in his apprenticeship at Mappin & Webb’s workshop. He is part of their talented and experienced team, apprenticed as a diamond mounter under previous Crown Jeweller Martin Swift.
In 2019 Sam was selected to represent the UK at The WorldSkills Finals in, Kazan, Russia.
