An Introduction to Weave Techniques Using Driftwood with Laura Thomas

Using found driftwood from the South Wales coast, participants will explore basic weave techniques without using a conventional loom. Focusing on colour, proportion, texture and yarn you will explore weaving using pieces of driftwood as your ‘loom’. You will have at least one if not many more exquisite and original woven artworks to take home with you. No previous experience is required.

No need to bring anything – Laura will provide all the necessary materials. However, if you do have a favourite yarn that you’d like to incorporate, feel free to bring it with you.
