Appliqué & Ribbonwork Floral Wellington Boot Workshop

Get ready for spring with this vibrant Appliqué Floral Wellington led by QEST Scholar Auburn Claire Lucas.
The workshop will teach you the basics of Appliqué, in the form of the leatherette wellington boot. This is then beautifully embellished with various Ribbonwork flowers such as Woven Wheel roses, Ribbon Work leaves and Lazy Daisy irises, all tumbling out of the top, and finished with an added touch of gold. The perfect way to welcome spring or as a gift for Mother’s Day!
There will be plenty of opportunity during the class to ask the Tutor questions and in advance of the class all preparation information will be emailed to you along with an invitation to join the class on the day.
The class kit will be posted out to you. Your kit includes everything you need including a full colour, step by step instruction booklet. The only things you’ll need are an 8” ring frame and embroidery scissors. It would be useful to have a pencil and paper in case you wish to take extra notes.
This class will run on 3 consecutive Sundays:
Sunday 21 & 28 February and Sunday 7 March
