Figure & torso sculpture masterclass with Poppy Field

Learn how to sculpt a 1/2 life-size male figure and 3/4 life-size female torso in this ten-day masterclass with QEST Finnis Scott Foundation Scholar Poppy Field.

Attendees will watch demonstrations and create their own water-based clay models to take home in this small group masterclass.

The masterclass covers a range of topics, including:

• Working from life
• Setting a pose
• Relating the armature
• Blocking in
• Establishing proportions
• Developing gesture
• Introducing body type
• Surface resolution

The classes run from Monday 22nd – Friday 26th April, and Monday 29th April – Friday 3rd May.
