QEST is proud to announce its been named the UK partner for the Michelangelo Foundation’s prestigious Homo Faber Next Gen programmes.

The Michelangelo Foundation is an international non-profit organisation that celebrates and preserves craft skills and strengthens the connection between the worlds of design, hospitality and the wider arts.

The Foundation is working with QEST and nine other partners across Europe to deliver the Fellowship programme, which bridges the gap between today’s masters and tomorrow’s makers to secure the future of craftsmanship.

Master artisans and early career makers will work alongside each other as a pair, exchanging and developing skills for seven months.

Successful applicants will attend a masterclass in Venice with the ESSEC business school, complete a joint commission, and meet exceptional craftspeople from across the programme’s European partners.

Applications are now open with the programme running from September 2024 to March 2025.

Final applications via the Homo Faber Next Gen website are due Friday March 8.
