The Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair Returns

The Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair – the UK’s largest fair entirely devoted to contemporary print – returns on 3 November for its seventh edition. Bigger and better than ever before, the event brings together a line-up of 1000 original artworks in a hybrid exhibition of emerging artists, famous names and specialist galleries.
Don’t miss works by QEST Scholars Jemma Gunning, David Robertson, Lucy May Schofield and Theadora Ballantyne-Way.

Theadora Ballantyne-Way will be exhibiting three polymer photogravure works, including High Rise (2022). She will also be doing a live demonstration for her studio, Atelier 21, on 3 November at the New Collectors Evening.
Holloway (lino cut) and The Boxing Gloves (wood engraving) by traditional wood engraver and printmaker David Robertson will also be on show.
Bristol based printmaker Jemma Gunning specialises in traditional printmaking techniques and will be showing two etchings: Stack Rock Fort IIÂ and Welsh Asylum.Â
Lucy May Schofield works in collaboration with expansive landscapes and dark skies, marking seasonal shifts with paper, ink and wood to connect and convene with nature.
She will be exhibiting April Day (YInMn), a limited edition mokuhanga print printed with the newly discovered YInMn blue pigment.
