The course will cover design of a puppet; safe handling of tools; working with wood; sharpening chisels; construction and jointing, wig making, costuming, fine-tuning movement and stringing. By learning these traditional techniques and incorporating them into new, innovative work using upcycled materials she will explore, push and progress the craft of puppet making.
