Archie studied on the Traditional Building Skills Programme run as a collaboration between The Prince’s Foundation and QEST. The course was the perfect opportunity for Archie to enhance his woodworking experience, developing skills such as window making, timber framing and restoration work. He also studied other traditional skills including as blacksmithing, thatching and stone masonry, which gave him a broader perspective of what opportunities are available and provided an excellent introduction to his career.

I am a passionate wood worker. I have a broad interest in all forms of wood working, such as furniture making, boat building, carving and timber framing. I also love learning about different crafts because I believe they all correspond with each other.
