With over 30 year’s experience, Chris is a piano tuner and repairer offering a service in the fine tuning, repair and servicing of upright and grand pianos. Based in Lichfield, Staffordshire, he established his business in 1990 after a three year course in piano tuning and repair at the Royal National College for the Blind in Hereford.
In 1999 a QEST Scholarship funded twelve weeks of extra training. This enabled further study in the repairs and servicing of grand pianos, re-stringing of pianos and extended his knowledge and experience to working on some of the finest instruments in Central Birmingham and the West Midlands as a whole.
Chris has continued to build his clientele to include fine tuning and servicing pianos for more independent schools and colleges in Staffordshire and the West Midlands.
