Emily is a bookbinder who thinks of the book as a performance space, and in her work she tries to make sure every page speaks to the last. A QEST Clothworkers’ Company Scholarship supported her during her MA in Illustration & Authorial Practice at Falmouth University where she honed her binding skills and produced a series of theatrical narratives.
Emily has set up her own studio, Juniper Bespoke, in Falmouth and she won The Wyvern Bindery Award for Best Newcomer at the 2017 Society of Bookbinders Awards.
