Nina Thomas

2012 QEST Radcliffe Trust Scholar - Farriery

After completing a demanding four year apprenticeship to become a farrier, Nina’s QEST Radcliffe Trust Scholarship enabled her to undertake a three year FdSc Farriery Science Course at Myerscough College in Lancashire.

The course provided her with a wealth of knowledge and taught her how to assess horses and their farriery needs on a much wider scale.  Nina’s next aim is to gain her ATF status (Approved Training Farrier) so that in the future she can take on new prospective farriers and share her passion and knowledge with them.
