Ros has a keen interest in bee farming having spent time alongside her father working on their family business, Border Honey. She is now keen to learn more by starting a formal apprenticeship in the subject, culminating in a Diploma in Excellence in Bee Farming from Rowse/Bee Farmers Association.
A 2023 QEST Apprenticeship will support Ros during her training as she develops her skills in queen rearing and honey production. Her long-term goal is to take on the running of the family business, increasing the number of hives and growing the queen rearing side of the business.
