Shirley Justice-Vose

Shirley first worked in outdoor education, setting up and running the Operation Adventure Trust, a registered charity providing outdoor adventure holidays for people with special needs.  She then moved into saddlery and after training at the Saddlery Training Centre in Salisbury, a QEST Scholarship enabled her to develop her skills in side saddle manufacture and restoration under Richard Godden.  She established Scottish Side Saddles at Diplomacy Saddlery in 1987 after moving back to Scotland.  Shirley is a Society of Master Saddlers Qualified Saddler, an SMS Qualified Saddle Fitter and a Side Saddle Association Instructor.
