Make It Harewood

July 2nd 2022 - July 3rd 2022

Harewood is delighted to announce that it will once again be teaming up with Hole & Corner to bring you a weekend celebrating all things craft. Workshops include blacksmithing with QEST Howdens Scholar Leszek Sikon and willow weaving with QEST Scholar Leilah Vyner of Dragon Willow.

As part of Radical Acts: Why Craft Matters, they are bringing you a weekend long festival which opens up the world of craft, allowing the whole family to get stuck in, meet some of the makers from the exhibition, and try out their crafts first hand.

The event will take place in and around The Courtyard on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 July, featuring a full programme of workshops and demonstrations, DJs and live music, talks, a craft market, plus local food and drink.

With a weekend packed full of workshops and demonstrations, visitors will have the opportunity to get hands on and learn from some of the leading talents in their respective crafts fields. As well as a range of intimate workshops for smaller groups, there are drop-in sessions and beginners activities for all the family, so there will be plenty to keep you busy all weekend long.

To complete the festival like atmosphere, they will be soundtracking the day from start to finish, with extended opening hours on Saturday night until 8pm.
