A QEST Scholarship supported Adam on a course in welding and fabrication at City & Guilds of London Art School. He then gained a degree in Architectural Decorative Iron Work and later set up Dorset Iron Works Studio from which he created a wide range of pieces including furniture and outdoor sculpture.
Adam is now teaching blacksmithing at Herefordshire & Ludlow College.
