A QEST Clothworkers’ Company Scholarship enabled Benjamin to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in the Conservation of Books and Library Materials at West Dean College. This course is recognised as being especially focused with time dedicated to practical conservation treatments, so that students are as fully prepared as possible to enter conservation upon completion of the course. Benjamin’s specific interests are in illuminated manuscripts and historical book structures.
Benjamin is now working as a hand bookbinder at Trevor Lloyd Ltd.
