Natasha is a stained glass artist seeking to further her education through a Master’s in Glass and Ceramics at the Royal College of Art. Her QEST funding will enable her continued development and refinement of technical and artistic skills in stained glass.
Natasha began her journey with glass in 2018, taking short courses in stained glass before enrolling at Morley College. She is passionate about building and sustaining open dialogues among stained glass craftspeople to foster collaboration and advance the endangered craft. She has won the Stevens Architectural Glass Competition twice, received the Lever Award from the Worshipful Company of Glaziers and has produced a range of works, including a commission featuring Wilfred Owen for a C of E church in Oxfordshire.
Natasha aims to establish her own studio practice that serves as a hub for innovation, collaboration, and artistic exploration. With a background in psychotherapy, she is interested in how colour, stained glass and biophilic design can humanise architectural spaces and in the long-term plans to create stained glass windows for a diverse range of religious and spiritual spaces.
