In 1997 Peter was working as an in-house designer for Thomas Goode when he was awarded his QEST Scholarship to study 3D printing.

From 2009-2017, Peter was a ‘Maker Trustee’ of the Crafts Council and has held previous roles as Head of Homeware for Asprey, Creative Director for Thomas Goode and Creative director for Legle Porcelain – spearheading its growth in Asia (he was responsible for their products gracing tables in 5 star hotels and 3 star Michelin restaurants).

In 2016 he began collaborating with writer Ying Jian to launch Ting-Ying gallery, dedicated to presenting artists whose creations are inspired by the history and legacy of Blanc de Chine porcelain. His own work can be found in collections at the V&A in London, MAD in New York and various museums round the world.

Peter is both passionate and knowledgeable about craft skills, understanding their crucial importance as the foundation of creativity. In 2019 he became a QEST Trustee.
